porcelain factories in the world. The excursion provides
visitors with view into the actual production of porcelain.
In addition you can also visit “The gallery of modern art
of porcelain” and buy porcelain at factory prices in a gift
store.

The Kunstkammer Museum

During this excursion you will visit the Peter the Great
Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography, known as the Kunstkammer
which is the first museum in Russia. You will see exhibitions
devoted to the traditional cultures of the peoples of America,
Africa, Asia, Australia and Oceania, as well as a historic
display entitled "From the History of St. Petersburg
Kunstkammer".

Historic and Memorial Museum "Smolny"
Working Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

During this excursion you will visit the most famous
historical building of Russia constructed for the
'Smolny institute of noble girls" (it was the
most prestige educational institution of Petersburg
of 19 century). Later on it became the Staff of
the October Socialist Revolution. At the time of
Great Patriotic War it was the Staff of Defense
of Leningrad. You will visit the Assembly Hall,
the Ballet Hall, the Music Hall and also the first
cabinet of Vladimir Lenin. Visiting these places
you will have the opportunity to view the events
of past history of 1917 year, which was crucial
for Russia and for the whole 20 century. |

Palace of Congresses (Konstantinovsky Palace)
in Strelna

During this excursion you will visit the official resident
of Russian President Putin Palace of Congresses (Konstantinovsky
Palace) in Strelna which is one of the oldest suburbs of
Saint Petersburg. The original Konstantinovsky Palace was
built in the 18th century as residence of tsar's family.
In Soviet period it was used for walks. Strelna estate was
reconstructed in just 12 months and was finished in time
for the city's 300th anniversary. Now you can learn of the
Palace history, its creation and reconstruction, life stories
of its owners.

Museum of N.K.Rerih in Izvara

During this excursion you will visit an age-old museum in
which N.K.Rerih (the famous Russian artist) spent his children
and junior years. There kept safe: The Master's House, an
ancient park, non-freezing lakes and the college of Colony
with the church built on it. |

One day tour to Novgorod
During this trip you will make a tour to Velikiy
Novgorod and see all important sights of the city: the Kremlin,
Yugoslav's Courtyard (place where the Novgorod's Vice (parliament)
held its meetings), St. Sophia's Cathedral (the oldest survived
Russian stone monument of XI century), the Monument to the
Millennium of Russia. You will also visit the open-air architectural-ethnographic
museum "Vitoslavlitsy", which provides a whole
complex of genuine folk wooden architecture, including ancient
churches of the 16th-18th centuries, peasant houses of the
19th - early 20th centuries, exhibitions of folk art and
everyday life items of Novgorod peasants of the same period.
You may also have a lunch break at the best restaurant of
Novgorod - "Detinets"
, which is located inside Pokrovskaya
Tower of Kremlin. The restaurant allows the guests to enjoy
the traditional Russian cuisine in the atmosphere of ancient
Novgorod.
